Flooring is sealed Armstrong Bruce in Spice color. This product has left a dull film on the flooring. A Pledge rep recommended mixing 1 cup of ammonia with a 1/4 cup of any non-chlorine cleaner in a half gallon of cool water. Mop on and scrub with a clean sponge mop and let soak for about a minute. Then dry with a soft cloth. This sounds ok. Just looking for a second opinion or approval of this method. Thanks.
Try testing some spic and span in some water on a small spot. My sister removed wax from some hard tile with this.

Hi, I damp mop only when it looks like it needs it with only a slightly damp mop rinsing the mop regularly. I just use warm water as we like going barefoot and I like natural products. Do not use ammonia based or oil based soaps as they dull the finish of your floor. Once in a while I use a 1/4 cup vinegar to 1 gallon water. I attach a towel to my swifter and quickly dry mop it if it is cold out and it is not drying quickly.
