Is it dangerous use the magic eraser to clean cork flooring?

I don't thing it's dangerous but it would seem to me that it would tear chunks out of the floor maybe. Use a damp mop instead.=)

Cork Flooring. How will it hold up with pets?

putting in new flooring. one option is cork. I have 6 cats and 1 dog. My pets once in a while have accidents (if you know what I mean).

Cork flooring is AMAZING! Not only is it eco friendly but it is fairly pet friendly too – it can help with your achy joints and your dogs achy joints too! Its really great! Here is a Pro's and Con's list of Cork flooring with your pets:

The only downfall is that you pets can scratch the floor. The cure: Keep their nails trimmed. Like many floors (even hardwood) pets can do damage. Make sure its properly sealed. You always clean up spills immediately and you'll be fine. If you have a big pup then maybe something different? If you're stuck on Cork then just maintain your pets nails.

Another suggestion that's really good with pets is Vinyl: It can imitate hardwood, tile, granite, etc. Its so cool. It's very pet-friendly as well – there's a great brand called Konecto. Just if you wanted to know!
