Has anyone ever returned laminate flooring to Home Depot?
By admin | January 12, 2009
My husband already opened it and cut one of the 8 pieces before he realized that it was the wrong one. Do you think they will take it back and give us at least part of a refund? We've bought some that were opened and missing pieces before and they discount it, so I figured maybe they might refund at least half of what we paid.
you will be able to return it. although laminate flooring is only sold by the case, and not the piece. Just bury the cut board in with the other ones. and if they ask say it came like that. It is done everyday and they can afford the hit, anyways the vendor of the laminate flooring will absorb the cost.

no refund for the open one and they will probably charge you a restocking fee.

Odds are not in your favor. Home Depot does not return partical cases of flooring even if you just cut one piece. Home Depot's return system does not allow for refunds for less then customers pay anyway.
