I’m using a Bosch SDS Max rotary hammer with 1-1/2″ chissel bit to remove ceramic tile from a concrete basement floor.

The Sims 3 – Basement Tutorial

This Tutorial Will Teach You how To Build A Basement.

1. Make house foundation (You need foundations to do this)
2. Delete an aprox. 3×3 square from the Foundations
3. Change the wallpaper, in the hole you just made, to a design where you can see the differance from the top and the bottom of the wallpaper (like I did in the video)
4. Use the MEDIUM SQUARE terrain lowering tool.
5. Click eight times, then flaten out the surrounding terrain
6. Check if you can see the top of the pattern (on the wallpaper), edging out from the bottom of the foundation.*

*if you can’t lower the terrian one of twice more and re-flatten the surrounding terrain

7. Make the room bigger like I did on the video
8. Put floortile on the BASEMENT floor and on the BASEMENT roof
9. Put stairs going down.

I really hope this helped and seeming like this is probably the first tutorial for this on youtube I’d appreciate your support.

By Valiquette Renovations. Before this renovation video, the basement floors and walls were rotting and somewhat mouldy, this was replaced and a surrounding frost wall was constructed. A better insulation was placed 1 foot from the floor up to allow heat to escape so the frost doesn’t push the walls in . The Basement Floor will be Floating floor in the Bedroom (future video), and the Open Recreational Area will also be the same. This Video mainly focuses on the ceramic tiling work (Before and After) Enjoy!
